A new set at MHK Designs |
Hello again PIP Fans. Time to head over to Pammies Inky Pinkies Challenge Blog for your chance to win some great images from MHK Designs !!!
All you have to do is link up your paper project on the PIP Challenge Blog, "Thankful" is the theme this 5th Monday!! Not only will lots of us get to enjoy your work of art but each week a winner is drawn! I really look forward to seeing what you have to enter!!

To color the raspberry branch I used ink straight off the palette for intensity. I really love the way that turned out. I tried to let it bleed out of the lines but it absorbs so quickly that I could not achieve the look I was going for. After making the greenery green, I added golds to the center of the leaves. and then a little "Magicals" for a frost look.
I love the simplicity of this card, the art really is the standout here.
So now it's your turn my friend!! I know you have a bunch of ideas! My wish for you today is that you find time to spend on something you love! If that is paper crafting ~ I'll see you over at the PIP Challenges!
Wendy this is beautiful! I love the deep rich colors, they look amazing!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous card, Wendy. And yes, this is a great set!! Your colors are beautiful, so rich looking! And the berries are such a gorgeous color. Nice job!!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous coloring! Beautiful cards!
ReplyDeleteWhoa! GORGEOUSNESS, Wendy! What printer do you use that prevents the ink from bleeding (smearing) when applying water colors to it? Thanks for the inspiration and feedback. elllisdonna70@gmail.com

Hanging my head in embarrassment - I see you used alcohol inks. Sigh - I need to read more carefully before shouting my questions! LOL
ReplyDeleteI think that is a great question Donna!! I actually have tried a lot of things to keep the ink from bleeding!! I have some advise under the "digi dos and don'ts tab above or you can click the label "digi" under the post to visit my other digital creations!! Ink bleed is the most frustrating of all I think!!!!!
